Besides, I am qualified with Masters level, Bachelor level, Accounting -CPAK and some other short level continuous learning.

As you can see I have developed great feat of confidence in my capabilities.

When I left corporate employment, I was super confident.

I had some 4.5 to 5 Million worth of assets and very upbeat that my start up enterprise would flourish and become even more rich.

I was ready for entrepreneurship !! I just imagined more money !!

Entrepreneurship

To start with, I headed for entrepreneurship with locked mind- make more cash

Yes, I was equally driven by motivating theory information I had picked up on the way through books and online materials.

These theories made me have desire for making positive changes to humanity – be good and do business with as many people as possible.

Outcome: I failed terribly. Lost everything. But lots of lessons. That’s why we’re here.

Entrepreneurship journey started when I lost everything and left with my only one head with brain to think deeper beyond what i imagined.

Initially lost in my thoughts

Friends from my back ground questioned if I was really educated or maybe I got bewitched.

I can confirm, none of the above.

What I didn’t learn at master’s level in University

The deep connection of my thought process with how I was socialized

I did learn that one of key drivers of people failure is how they are socialized.

Relationships like boss vs subordinate, teacher vs student

Boss and teachers set the aim, subordinates & students answers

Subordinates & students knows when they succeed only when boss and teacher tell them

This creates bottlenecks of thinking. It limits open ness to problem solving.

That drives need for developing system thinking as a goal

We lose more than imagined at thinking level

I had not learnt that entrepreneurship is an art of courting problems and solving them for many to get help without short cuts

The way I looked at problems had one major leakage

I faced them with feeling of urgency that needed to be done away as soon as possible and move on to other ‘’ important ‘’ issues

What I dint know was that those problems were the real business that needed deep sense of understanding and not rush to clear them away

How did I do short cuts and rush them ?

Take my cash to buy out un reasoned solutions that were only quick fix

Imagined that with cash capital I was always set to break through

Imagined that relationships I needed to build with people, was driven by respect for my education qualifications

Leaking socialization

Until recently, any one doing self-business was termed by society as struggling human being and hustling in waiting for employment

I must admit, telling people i have left a well-paying corporate job for small startup took a lot of confidence to mention it.

Education has been for employment

What does this do

First, any problem that seemed like meant to inspire you start small enterprise as a way of solution, was not supposed to be given your time to allow you think about it.

This has been locking lot of thought process

Many have joined entrepreneurship with non-committal mindset

Others join entrepreneurship as survival in waiting.

To be able to meet cash need as they expect get ‘’ good big job ‘’

We have said above- Entrepreneurship is courting problem and getting best way to solve them

This requires you come with open mind as the main capital and not the money in bank as main influencer.

You need un do or replace some socialization beyond education

Simple

Growing small enterprise start with you. Some people are clearly stuck in mentality of pushing for how much cash they will make today.

Those don’t fit in our growth journey program. They are of rushed mentality and socialization

Start point looks like very simple un expected thing

Clarity call with someone who point out where many people get stuck

For me, we look at 4 things

 1.       The you

Are your mind set to believe in growth journey?

2.       Business design

What need or problem you see that fit in and the available universe for the solution you have.

Is it scalable ?

3.       Route to customers and selling infrastructure

Whether you can clearly have path to reach to the prospective customer and infrastructure needed to make this happen daily

4.       Meeting the promise

When you get the customer, are you able to deliver with precision

Last note

When someone asked me how to go about changing their business, I clearly said, ‘’ that may not be my abilities’’.

However, I referred them for a coaching session and this came to confirm their socialization (mindset) cost heavily their entrepreneurship journey

You are full of admiration for well performing businesses

You desire your business reach there
